Well, I'm in my sixth month of pregnancy and it's gone by quickly thus far. I'm hoping this will continue but have a feeling time will start slowing down. I've gotten more uncomfortable sitting for long periods of time (yay for having a desk job) and sleeping isn't as easy as it used to be. I swear my belly grows every day...that'll just get bigger as well!
Something VERY cool happened yesterday though. Scott and I were sitting on the couch watching a baseball game and I saw our little girl move...from the outside. I've been feeling her flips and kicks inernally for a while now, but seeing it from the outside was a totally different experience. I "gasped" when I first saw the movement because it caught me off guard. I guess our little girl is getting bigger! I love experiencing these new developments as it's a reminder of what's to come in October. Obviously I know I'm expecting, but when I get to feel and see Torrance move, it's makes it that more real. Scott and I are really excited to meet her in October :)

And we're done!!!!!
Scott and I picked up the baby's crib on Friday. It came in a week early which was a nice surprise! The crib was the last piece we needed for the room so we anxiously put it together. Once the crib was done we were able to display her bedding which we're huge fans of. We hung some pictures, vinyl lettering and decorated her name letters. I'm happy to report that Torrance's (that will be her name) room is now complete. Scott and I are VERY happy with the end result and Milo seems to like it as well. All the room needs is our little girl which will be here in about 3.5 months. Here are some pictures of her room.

Nursery Progress
Scott and I made some great progress this weekend with the baby nursery!! I'm happy to announce that the painting is officially done. We also hung some blinds and a cute window valance. We're both pleased with the outcome and can't wait to start getting some furniture in. So far we have a dresser, book shelf, and recliner chair. All we really need is a crib and we'll be set. We chose bright paint colors and I'm glad because it really makes the room pop.

The Birthday Boy
We celebrated Scott's 28th birthday over the Memorial Day weekend. His family came over to our house for a BBQ, although the weather didn't really cooperate. We have a fire bit in our backyard that we were really hoping to use and make smores in, but that didn't happen. It was a nice get together none the less and Scott got some nice gifts from everyone. His birthday cake was probably the highlight of the night. His favorite baseball team is the Detroit Tigers so I got him a Tigers themed red velvet cake. I got it from the same bakery as our wedding cake and it was delicious.
Yet another birthday has come and gone. I find that time passes by faster the older we get! I'm sure that once our little one arrives, it'll go by even faster.
