The front garden at our house is a little out of control. Okay, that's an understatement! The bed is really overcrowded and bushes and vines are growing out of control. We've never really liked the garden but have put up with it for now. This spring, our home project (excluding the baby room) is the garden. My mom so graciously offered to come out and help us dig things up and plant new bushes and flowers since neither Scott or I are really good with that kind of stuff. My mom gets here in about a week so Scott and I spent last weekend digging up plants and grass we want gone. Man, it's hard work and we were both a little sore the next day. We only got about half done and will be out there again this weekend. The bed is starting to look better though and it's nice to be able to see the ground. All we saw before was green after green after green. Here are some before and after pictures to show our progress.
